On the first day of the leaders' departure to the beaches, Babloku also thought about increasing the salaries of his subordinates in the prime minister's cabinet up to 30%, where the lowest salary is 1500 Euros.
At the last meeting of the government for this season, with Decision No. 325, dated August 1, 2024, Prime Minister Edi Rama has signed an additional monthly salary for the General Secretary Engjëll Agaçi, for the directors of the departments, including Frida Krifca, as well as for the heads and specialists of the sectors.
In order to realize this salary increase for the officials of the prime minister, Babloku has changed by making an increase, in Decision No. 325, dated 31.5.2023, with which, from April 1, 2023, the salaries of deputies and ministers were doubled.
- With this decision, the General Secretary, Engjëll Agaçi, will receive 650 Euros in his monthly salary.
- 750 Euros are added to the salary of the Director of the Department who drafts and approves the decisions, normative acts and orders issued by the Council of Ministers.
- 700 Euros are added to the salary of the Director of the Territorial Development Agency, who plans the plots of land donated by the government and signs construction permits.
- 600 Euros are added to the salary of the directors of the directorates of the subject content of the issues handled by the prime minister.
- 450 Euros are added to the salaries of coordinators, managers and specialists in organizational units, of the content of the issues handled by the prime minister, including former minister Frida Krifça, who has been working in the cabinet of prime minister Edi Rama for 10 months.
- 300 Euros are added to the salaries of directors of directorates, managers and sector specialists, who process decisions, normative acts and orders issued by the Council of Ministers.
- 250 Euros are added to the salary of the Director of the Prime Minister's Cabinet and the directors of the departments that prepare the government's priority legal acts for European integration and good governance.
While the salaries of other officials of the prime ministership, between them and the advisers, have been increased from 150-200 Euro per month, according to the sectors and tasks they have, but the beneficiaries are 578 officials of the prime ministership in total.
