Criminal Kondi has been involved in a series of events filled with abuse of power and corruption, aimed at favoring criminal groups.
Organized crime and gangs in our country have penetrated every possible institution, even the Parliament. One of those scandalous cases where state officials are put at the service of organized crime is that of the former head of the Saranda Police Station, currently deputy director of the Vlora Police Department, Klodian Kondi.
Criminal Kondi has been involved in a series of events filled with abuse of power and corruption, aimed at favoring criminal groups.
One of the most flagrant cases that has come to light is related to the illegal construction of a building by the company "Noku OS 2008", a process that has highlighted the flagrant violation of the law with the aim of enriching criminal gangs in the city of Saranda.
While the citizens of Saranda have raised numerous concerns and filed over 20 legal reports regarding the abuse of the construction permit, Klodian Kondi, who was the head of the police station at the time, has flagrantly favored the continuation of illegal construction.
This, despite the fact that the construction of the palace was carried out without an approved project and without the relevant permit, which raises strong suspicions that Kondi's connections with individuals involved in organized crime in Saranda have influenced his decisions.
After he left his post as chief of the police station, police authorities intervened and stopped the construction of the palace, but this does not change the fact that he had allowed the construction to continue for months, harming citizens and the law.
The accusations of abuse of office and favoring illegality are just the tip of the iceberg. In another important case, Klodian Kondi was involved in a violent incident against a citizen, who received visible signs of violence on his body.
This incident has been followed by an extraordinary delay in the investigation by the Saranda Prosecutor's Office. The investigation into this event has dragged on for more than a year, being unacceptably delayed, while the evidence of violence is clear and visible. This delay in justice and the favoritism of such an individual by the prosecutor's office only serves to further deepen the suspicions that the institution of justice is under the influence of power groups and corruption.
To have a clearer picture, Klodian Kondi's personal connections with individuals involved in organized crime, as well as the influence he has had on the institutions of order, raises major questions about justice in Saranda. It seems clear that this has been a continuous and coordinated practice to protect the interests of powerful individuals and to suppress any attempt to uncover the truth and punish abuses.
Prosecution Accountability and Investigations: While society has been waiting for justice to follow procedures and provide answers for these serious abuses, the Saranda Prosecution has failed to take immediate action. Despite clear evidence and numerous denunciations, it has allowed this case to remain untouched for more than a year, favoring the former director of the police station, Klodian Kondi, in an unprecedented way. This delay and failure to react to illegal actions only adds to concerns about the penetration of corruption into the institutions of justice and order.
In this context, it is clear that a figure like Klodian Kondi, who has abused his power to favor criminal groups and violate citizens, cannot go unpunished. This is a critical moment for the justice system in Albania, where citizens are demanding rights and protection from abuses of power.
All those involved in supporting corruption and violence must be held accountable for their actions, and this is a call for a swift and thorough investigation by the authorities to uncover the truth and deliver justice.
This scandal, which involves a police officer and a prosecutor who is not up to the task, is another indication of how corruption and links to organized crime can affect the justice system and order. The case of Klodian Kondi should serve as a warning to all those who abuse power and violate the law: no one can be above justice.
