Is there "Coca-Cola" with high chlorine levels in Albania? Europe

The company and the responsible authorities have no reaction to the Coca Cola recall in Europe....

Coca Cola's European producer in Belgium, two days ago, announced a massive recall of products in Europe due to excessively high chlorine content.

The decision affects cans and glass bottles of Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, etc. "We don't have an exact figure, but it is clear that this is a significant amount," Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Belgium told AFP. These products carry "a production code ranging from 328 GE to 338 GE."

"The majority of affected and unopened products have already been removed from store shelves and we are continuing to take steps to recall all remaining products from the market," the company continued.

But the question that arises is, what is happening in Albania? In our country, the Coca-Cola company does not put water on fire. There has been no reaction from it, whether or not there are drinks with high chlorine content. Not that if there are, they will withdraw, but transparency is needed.

It is a drink that is consumed by children to the elderly and the high level of chlorine is very harmful. According to doctors, it is a cause of cancer, immune system diseases, damages eyesight and the nervous system. The most terrible problem is that it damages eyesight even before birth, if the mother consumes it. So at the very least there should be transparency, is Albania affected by such a thing or not?

Food Safety Expert, Kapllan Sulaj, said in a program that even though there are no verified cases, a check should be carried out in our country since the possibility of us having such a product containing chlorate exists.

" I think that the investigation and control of Coca-Cola in Albania should begin immediately, as such a phenomenon could be even though nothing has been verified. While there is a possibility of contamination in the European Union, it is also possible in Albania. Controls should be carried out at customs entry if there is Coca-Cola entering Albania, which may be ready for consumption or the amount of Coca-Cola that is packaged in Albania ," said the expert.

So, while the company remains silent, the responsible authorities should at least be put into action, especially the National Food Authority.

This is the latest scandal involving Coca-Cola. Not long ago, the Albanian Supreme Audit Office (KLSH) revealed in a report a series of serious violations during the process of destroying tons of expired drinks by the entity "Coca-Cola", raising concerns about the lack of transparency and law enforcement. So the suspicions were that the expired products were not destroyed, but were reintroduced into the market. Even when the report came out, there was silence, just like now. / Pamphlet
