Kola began his career as a specialist at the Customs of Rinas and Tirana, only to be catapulted to the head of the Pezë Commune, where he managed to become a millionaire through falsifying documents and exerting pressure on the residents of the area, forcing them to sell their properties for small sums of money to his close associates, including his brothers.
During his tenure in Peza, public and private property was transferred to his relatives through a well-organized scheme of document manipulation and abuse of office. Residents of the area have denounced numerous cases where properties inherited from their families were illegally alienated, creating an unprecedented situation of abuse. The alienation scheme involved massive forgeries, intimidation and the use of power for personal gain. We received the clue for this investigation from the residents of Peza, who have reported dozens of cases of alienation of their properties by Besmir Kola and his brothers, Ervin Kola and Festim Kola .
Another important fact is that Besmir Kola, while leading the Municipality of Peza, became the owner of a quarry, which he later sold. The transactions of this sale remain suspicious and require a full investigation and transparency by the authorities. Recently, Kola became the owner of an apartment worth 300 thousand euros, in the Square 21 residence.
After a series of scandals, Besmir Kola was dismissed from office. However, despite this, there is still no full investigation into his activities and the network of connections that protect him. Will there be punishment for Kola or will he continue to be protected by his strong political and economic connections?
The residents of Peza demand justice and a full investigation into this affair. SPAK and the Prosecutor's Office cannot turn a blind eye to such a scandal, which has violated the property rights of hundreds of citizens.
