After a direct agreement with the chiefs of police stations in Tirana, Njulend (Lendi) Palaj surrendered, was formally questioned and released without any security measures. The police fabricated a false version of the arrest, to cover up the collaboration and stifle public voices.

Njulend Palaj, known as Lendi, was not arrested by the police. He surrendered himself, after a clear agreement with State Police officials. After surrendering, he was released.
The public statements by the police about an “arrest” are a fraud. They are made to cover up the bargain and to give the false impression of a legal action. In fact, we are dealing with a pure compromise between the author of a large criminal network and the state structures.
The State Police, including the heads of police stations no. 1, 2 and 4, have not investigated, detained or implemented any real detention measures against Palaj. He has entered and left free, while there is clear evidence against him of involvement in an organized network of illegal betting, armed clashes and violence resulting in injuries.
Pamphlet sources confirm that Palaj has a direct relationship with police officers, who protect him and inform him of every operational action. In many cases, these officers have received regular payments to turn a blind eye to his criminal activity in Tirana.
This event is not an incident. It is evidence. It shows that the State Police is no longer a law enforcement agency, but a silent partner in crime.
Justice has chosen to remain silent. SPAK has not intervened. The prosecution has no active measures. Meanwhile, a 26-year-old with zero companies in his name, but millions of euros in illegal turnover, commands betting networks, exercises violence in public and openly challenges the state, without being punished.
Njulend Palaj is the ultimate test for Albanian justice. If a 26-year-old individual, with dozens of published evidence, with direct links to a structured criminal network.
If the State Police hides the truth about the "arrest", if SPAK and BKH remain silent in the face of the facts, if no one dares to mention a name like Palaj and his bosses, then any talk of fighting against illegal betting is institutional hypocrisy.
