In the official asset declaration, Bozdo results without any assets in his name.
The candidate for deputy in the Berat district, Enno Bozdo, has been placed at the center of a scandal that is shaking the foundations of the electoral race.
Confidential sources indicate that a silent investigation is being conducted against him by the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK), following serious suspicions of hidden assets and involvement in corrupt affairs during the time he held the position of Deputy Minister of Energy.
In the official declaration of assets, Bozdo results without any assets in his name, but the investigation into the cadastral registers has brought to light another reality: 26 properties, all registered in the name of his father, Shpëtim Vasil Bozdo.
The suspicions are that these properties do not actually belong to the father, but to Enno Bozdo, which were registered in the name of a family member to avoid legal and fiscal liability.
This well-known way of hiding assets violates the law on the declaration of assets by public officials and may constitute criminal offenses such as “hiding assets”, “money laundering” and “passive corruption”.

For anti-corruption experts, the model of assets registered in family names is a classic technique to avoid investigations and legal declaration.
In this case, the size of the assets, their distribution across different volumes and pages, as well as the lack of consistency with the official's own statement, create a picture that raises serious suspicions of a serious legal violation.
SPAK has not yet officially commented, but sources from the justice system confirm that the material is being analyzed in detail.
If investigations confirm that these properties are linked to income obtained illegally during the time Bozdo held public office, then the path to criminal prosecution and asset seizure could be opened.
Further developments are expected to have a direct impact on the electoral race in the Berat region, as well as on public trust in the candidates and the electoral process itself.
