The co-optation of pharmaceutical businessman Kliti Hoti, by the SP sponsor, into the closed list of DP candidates for the Shkodra district, was said to be a reward from Sali Berisha, because he was also a sponsor of Liri Berisha's "Albanian Children" foundation.
But on the other hand, the truth is completely different, therefore, SPAK must investigate public denunciations by local leaders of the DP-Shkodra and members of the central leadership of this party, that pharmaceutical businessman Kliti Hoti gave 700 thousand Euros in bribes to the list compiler, in order to be on the closed list.
Meanwhile, the Democrats of Shkodra, in addition to having Ilir Beqja's partner in the pharmaceutical business as a candidate, should learn that Kliti Hoti also has black business ties with Tomë Doshi, Olta Xhaçka, and the top brass of the Ministry of Health.
In the list of medicines that are reimbursed, the Ministry of Health and the Health Care Fund have included 113 medicines with the brand name "Profarma" of Tomë Doshi, when they are medicines smuggled in by Saliu's candidate, Kliti Hoti, who gives them to Tomë Doshi and divides the millions according to the bargain.
Kliti carries out the smuggling of medicines with the permission of the ruling Socialist Party, of which he is the financial backer, using his company "Novartis Pharma Service Inc", and distributes them to pharmaceutical companies and pharmacies.
In addition to the company where Ilir Beqja is a partner, among the warehouses that receive smuggled medicines from Kliti Hoti is the company "UniPharma Sh.pk" where Olta Xhaçka's husband has a 50% ownership and the partner companies "Mega Store" and "Medicamenta", where Olta Xhaçka has 1.5 million Euros in illegal capital each.
But the connections in dirty work between candidate Kliti Hoti and Olta Xhaçka were established in 2017, when she was appointed Minister of Defense and her husband created the pharmaceutical company "UniPharma Sh.pk", and invested in the companies "Mega Store" and "Medicamenta".
While Kliti Hoti, by order of Babloku, was appointed Honorary Consul of Hungary in Albania, whose ties with Olta Xhçka increased and strengthened after September 2020 when she was appointed Foreign Minister.
In addition to smuggling and selling questionable drugs, Kliti Hoti's dirty work with former minister Olta Xhaçka included the business of scholarships and work permits to Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and France, for which they received illegal payments.
From the dirty work they did together, Olta Xhaçka granted Kliti Hoti the status of a senior official diplomat of the Albanian State, which does not allow physical checks, nor cars, nor luggage at border crossing points.
While from the 1 car that the law allows for being equipped with diplomatic license plates, Olta Xhaçka equipped 3 cars, 1 of which was used by his brother-in-law Dorjan Sadiku, a drug smuggler who appeared in SPAK investigations together with Ilir Beqje.
With this diplomatic immunity, Kliti Hoti's homes and businesses inside or outside Albania cannot be searched without approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or a court decision.
But the SPAK prosecution does not prosecute him, although they have complaints and evidence, especially for drug smuggling and the use of cars with diplomatic license plates by his brother-in-law and the strongmen he disguises as athletes.
