The rank of the Assembly

Here's who will represent us in Parliament...

If the Parliament was once called the temple of democracy, today it can be fearlessly declared the "VIP Hall" of the incriminated, the ignorant, and the servile.

The list of those expected to sit in Parliament after May 11 is a frightening combination of anonymous figures, characters with problematic pasts, and those who belong more to justice files.

Tom Doshi , despite being declared non grata by the US, Britain and Australia, has secured a seat in the Assembly again. Accusations of links to organized crime no longer seem to pose any problem for the Albanian standard of representation.

Gjin Gjoni , the former judge with sheikh-like wealth, who cunningly avoided vetting, returns to the political scene through the DP list in Lezha.

Tërmet Peçi , known more for his blunders than for his public contributions, not only manages to become an MP, but does so even after facing accusations of sexual scandals before the elections. Apparently, in Albania, immunity begins before the mandate.

Agron Malaj , a former January 21 guard, has emerged as one of the most voted in Debar. A guard who once 'fired' a gun at protesters, today comes to the Assembly as a representative of the citizens he once targeted.

Sara Mila , the "new girl of politics", is the most voted for nationally, while she is accused of close ties to the Suel Çela gang in Elbasan. Her vote count is frightening - not because of her popularity, but because of the questions that arise about the way this result was constructed.

Olsi Komici , former member of the Vetting Commission and then head of the AKU at the time of the salmonella chicken scandal, is rewarded with a mandate as a member of parliament. From controlling the meat on our tables, to decision-making for the future of the country.

Ceno Klosi , with an open file in SPAK for the period when he headed Taxes, will be part of the new legislature. In a normal country, such people are investigated; in Albania, they are voted out.

Zegjine Çaushi will also be a member of parliament, thanks to her famous videos on Facebook or TikTok mocking Gaz Bardhi. Babloku "dies" for such characters and we will have Zegjine as a member of parliament.

Meanwhile, Ornaldo Rakipi , the son of Aqif Rakipi, sanctioned by the US Treasury, continues to fight for a mandate .

While these characters march towards the Parliament, figures with real support like Ilir Alimehmeti and Jorida Tabaku fight for a seat.

The irony of Albanian political fate: the more votes you get on merit, the less chance you have of getting into Parliament. To secure a mandate, you have to be connected to crime, have money and 'cheat' the leader. /Pamphlet
