The investigation into the land robbery affair of the former "Partizani" complex has also revealed a trip outside Albania of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha with citizen Bari Hodaj, the former Head of the Property Compensation Commission for Tirana in the government of PD.
According to the file prepared by SPAK, it is confirmed that Prime Minister Sali Berisha and his subordinate Bari Hodaj, on December 1, 2005, traveled together with the line "Austrian Airlines Vienna"; trip that shows they had a special relationship, since a low-level official traveled privately with the prime minister.
Fellow traveler Bari Hodaj, at that time, was the head of the sector for the selection of files, the lottery, the deadline and the evaluation of the decision, for the properties that had to be returned and compensated in Tirana, where the file for the land of the former "Partizani" complex was entered.
Bashkim Bekteshi, the uncle of Jamarbër Malltezi, on October 12, 2005, submitted the request for property return to the Property Commission- Tirana, while the paperwork procedure was done by Sali Berisha and managed by the son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi.
Even on the date of submission of the request for the land, the Minister of Defense, Fatmir Mediu, addressed the Minister of Economy, Genc Ruli, with the notification letter that he had removed the "Partizani" Complex from the plan of the army's properties and was allowed to pass to the private sector.
Three months after the request made by Jamarbër Malltezi's uncle of the letter of former minister Fatmir Mediu, and 1 and a half months after Sali Berisha's trip with the head of Tirana's properties, Bari Hodaj; this, with Decision No. 135, dated January 20, 2006, gave Jamarbër Malltez and others the land of the former "Partizani" complex.
The former head of properties, Bari Hodaj, lecturer at the Agricultural University-Kamze and friend of Ritvan Bode of the non-grata "Berisha" family, is the father of the Deputy Minister of the Interior Julian Hodaj, while the latter is the son-in-law of the former prime minister Owl Star.
The other members of the property commission, who together with Bari Hodaj have signed the decision that gave Jamarbër Malltei the land of the "Partizani" complex, are Emil Konomi, now Secretary General in the Prefecture of Tirana; Ermira Stavre is Head of Sector in the Ministry of the Interior under Julian Hodaj; Lindita Tako is Head of Organization at OSHEE, while Besnik Hoxhaj is Head of Services at Albanian Post.
