On September 13, 2024, the media "DerSpiegel" published the statements of several Albanian investigators, that the heads of the government are connected to the heads of drug trafficking and organized crime who clean millions in businesses, and even command Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Among the traffickers connected to the government, even as supporters of the SP in the elections, is the group of drug trafficking and paid murders, led by Andrea Çaushi, alias Renato Çaushi.
He has many legal and illegal businesses, not controlled by taxes and anti-crime, but he has also seized state property, allowed by Prime Minister Edi Rama, without being affected by justice.
Such is the Leather Castle in Saranda, which Andrea Çaushi has alienated into a luxury resort, with the proceeds from drug trafficking, fines, money laundering and other criminal activities in Albania, Greece, Spain and Italy.
In this historical object, the exemplar of the world of crime Andrea Çaushi, entered as a partner with 25% with the former deputy and former minister of LSI, Vangjel Tavo, currently the Mayor of Himarë Municipality, occupied during the power and registered in his name son Thoma Tavo and grandson Harallamb Tavo.
In the 7 buildings and 11,000 m2 of land of the Castle of Leather in Saranda, used without paying rent and taxes to the state; they invested 2.2 million Euros for coffee bars, restaurants, hotels, beach area, entertainment centers and other tourist services; 1.5 million Euros of which was given to the trafficker Andrea Çaushi with usury, becoming a partner with 25% of the resort, while 500 million were savings of the MP Vangjel Tavo.
But on April 24, 2017, the "Tavo" family donated to the chief trafficker Andrea Çaushi, 50% of the business at Kalaja e Lëkurës, as an obligation of the usury value, while on July 12, 2023, they donated 25% and became the 100% owner of the resort of the Leather Castle in Saranda, although it is state property.
A month after Andrea Çaushi became the owner of the resort, the government with Decision No. 501, dated August 24, 2023, ordered the Ministry of Culture to remove private business from the Castle, clean it from interference and administer the state as a historical museum object with the object of tourism.
But the decision was just for show, as if the heritage objects are being protected, because the former minister Elva Margariti, at the behest of Bablok, did not implement the order for the "liberation" of the Leather Castle from the trafficker Andrea Çaushi; even the minister Blendi Gonxhe has not implemented it for 1 year.
The chief trafficker, finer and contract killer Andrea Çaushi continues to keep the Castle of Leather in Saranda "occupied", even in June 2024, in a silent bargain with Bablok, he occupied 3250 m2 of state land near this castle.
So, while the US-EU call for a war against the exponents of organized crime and the sequestration of their assets, Prime Minister Edi Rama allows organized crime to seize state assets and turn them into businesses; like the Leather Castle.
In addition to occupying the castle, the resort without permission, without taxes and duties, SHISH and Anti-traffic have reported several times, how Andrea Çaushi has turned the resort into the Castle of Lëkurës, into a center for selling drugs and hiding wanted persons, but the police he does not act because the prime minister forbids him.
But who is stopping SPAK from implementing the anti-mafia law, to seize the resort at Kalaja and the assets of this trafficker, who has the file of trafficking 900 kg. drugs and other serious crimes?/ Pamphlet
