After the order of Prime Minister Edi Rama, for the forced dismissal of Director Muhamet Rrumbullaku, as a contingent of SPAK for involvement in contacts with "SKY-ECC", Minister Ervin Hoxha declared that he will reform the police dome, with leaders selected through competitions and removal of leaders connected to crime.
Convinced that his subordinates will not let him know the names of some police officers connected to the crime, we are reminding the Minister of the Interior, Ervin Hoxha, a police officer still in office, with a file as the capo of a cultivation group drug trafficking while on duty.

This police chief is the chief trafficker Ermir Gërxhani, currently Chief of Police in Berat, appointed to this position on September 29, 2023 by order of former director Muhamet Rrumbullaku.
In the file of Ermir Gërxhani at the General Directorate of the State Police, there is the decision of July 4, 2017, for the reason of his dismissal from the position of Chief of the Commissariat through permanent exclusion from the police.
While in the Police Supervision Agency (former SHCA), there is the police investigation for Ermir Gërxhan and the criminal report in the former Serious Crimes Prosecutor's Office.
According to the file, the current police chief Ermir Gërxhani, when he was the Chief of the Police Station in Përmet, was caught red-handed with 8 parcels and 11.6 tons of drugs, hidden in his warehouses in the village of Piskovë, ready for sale to traffickers.
But the decision was ignored by the following directors and ministers, and in June 2021, the chief trafficker Ermir Gërxhani returned to the state police as a crime specialist in Tirana with a false file as a "clean figure", as if he was not the one who was caught in flagrante delicto with 11.6 tons of drugs at his warehouse in Përmet.
After a few months, the chief trafficker Ermir Gërxhani was appointed Chief of the Police Station in Kuçovo, where SHISH and Anti-trafficking filed and reported him with audio recordings and videos, as the leader of 3 groups that cultivated and processed drugs, in the forested areas of Kuçovo and they sold it to groups that trafficked it.
But instead of the chief trafficker Ermir Gërxhani being fired and expelled from the police and arrested by the Police Surveillance Agency; on September 29, 2023, Muhamet Rrumbullaku appointed him Chief of the Commissariat in Berat, where for 1 year he has been carrying out the same criminal activity with drug groups and other crimes.
