A 40-year-old man has died as a result of a shooting in Athens. The incident occurred on Friday afternoon on Agias Irini Street in Agia Paraskevi.
According to information from Greek media, the victim is around 40 years old and has wounds to his neck.
The perpetrator who shot the victim in a quiet neighborhood, immediately after the execution, ran away, while according to information he was wearing a surgical mask, covering part of his face.
At least five shell casings were found at the scene, which has been surrounded by police forces.
The Hellenic Police were immediately alerted, and a search was launched to find the perpetrator.
