The former Ukrainian Minister of Defense, Alexey Reznikov, who resigned yesterday, has shown the real figure of expenses that Ukraine needs for the war, in one day.
In an interview for the Ukrinform agency, he stated that one day of military operations costs 100 million dollars for Ukraine.
" One day of war costs 100 million US dollars ," he said.
According to Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal, the country's defense spending will reach 48.7 billion dollars this year. David Arakhamiya, head of the pro-presidential faction of the Servant of the People's Party, said lawmakers are working on a reform to channel all budget revenue to defense needs.
We recall that in his video speech on Sunday evening, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that he had decided to replace Reznikov with Rustem Umerov, the head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine.
Reznikov submitted his resignation request to the parliament. Once this issue is approved by the relevant parliamentary committee, it will be put to a vote. After that, Zelensky will offer his candidate to the parliament.
