Jacques Moretti, the owner of the Constellation club in Crans-Montana where 40 people tragically lost their lives, has been released from prison by the Court of Constraints in Sion.
Moretti paid 200,000 francs as a guarantee for his freedom.
He will be subject to precautionary measures to prevent escape, including surrendering and signing identity documents.
According to reports, Moretti and his wife, Jessica Maric, remain under investigation for involuntary manslaughter, assault and arson in connection with the tragedy at their club on New Year's Eve, where 40 people died and 116 others were injured.
