A serious accident happened this afternoon in Greece, where a 55-year-old man from North Macedonia lost his life after a collision between two cars.
It is learned that the accident happened on the Thessaloniki-Petritsi axis. The car driven by the 55-year-old man and heading towards Kilkis collided head-on with another car driven by a 44-year-old woman.
Numerous police and firemen went to the scene, which made it possible to remove the body of the 55-year-old. He was rushed to the Thessaloniki hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The 44-year-old driver of the other car was transported and is being treated at Kilkis hospital.
A 38-year-old man and two girls, each 3 years old, were in the car driven by the woman. The 38-year-old and the children were transported and are being treated at the Georgios Gennimatas hospital in Thessaloniki.
The causes of the accident are not yet known and preliminary investigations are being carried out by the Kilkis Road Police.
