King of England, Charles III, has reacted after the arrest of his brother, the former Prince Andrew.
The King has given full support and cooperation to the police and said that the law must take its course.
"It was with the deepest concern that I learned the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and the suspicion of misconduct in public office.
What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this matter is investigated in the proper manner and by the appropriate authorities.
In this regard, as I have said before, they have our full and heartfelt support and cooperation. Let me be clear: the law must take its course.
While this process continues, it would not be appropriate for me to comment further on this matter. In the meantime, my family and I will continue our duty and service to you all. Charles R.," the statement said.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the younger brother of King Charles III, has been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. Police have not said what prompted them to arrest Andrew on suspicion of misconduct in public office, but he spent a decade as the UK's trade envoy.
Officers were pictured arriving at Mountbatten-Windsor's Sandringham home, King Charles' Norfolk estate. Police previously said the force was investigating allegations that a woman was trafficked to the UK by Jeffrey Epstein to have a sexual encounter with Mountbatten-Windsor, and claims he shared sensitive information with her while serving as the UK's trade envoy.
The former prince has not publicly responded to the latest allegations that emerged following the US Department of Justice's revelations about Epstein, but Mountbatten-Windsor has previously denied any wrongdoing in relation to his links with him.
