US President Joe Biden has arrived in Tel Aviv amid protests after a deadly explosion at a hospital in Gaza, with Israeli and Palestinian officials accusing each other of who was to blame.
The arrival of the president of America in Israel has been accompanied by strict security measures. Biden was received by the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, with whom he had a warm hug. Biden then boarded an armored motorcade to continue meetings in Israel.

US President Joe Biden traveled as usual to Israel, despite canceling a quadrilateral meeting with the leaders of Egypt, Jordan and the Palestinian Authority following the deadly tragedy at a Palestinian hospital. In fact, before boarding Air Force One, Joe Biden said he was "shocked and deeply saddened" by the bombing of Al Ahli Hospital in the Gaza Strip.
As for who is responsible for this attack in which around 500 people were killed, the Palestinian side accuses Israel of a "war crime". Israel also blames the Palestinians, specifically the "Palestinian Jihad" organization, which is considered a continuation of Hamas.
