After the tragedy that struck them, the family is looking for answers. Simona Cinà died while at a pool party in Bagheria, in the province of Palermo. She was 20 years old. The family's lawyer, Gabriele Giambrone, had expressed initial doubts. Her family members also have doubts.
The Carabinieri are investigating the party and are examining numerous elements: a video shot by Simona herself, the condition of the villa when the officers arrived, the invitation to the party that had circulated the previous days, and the traces of blood found.
"Since Simona died, no one from the party has called us. No one. Except for two of her dear friends who even sent us the video showing how she was dressed. Of the other 80, no one has called us. Unbelievable," says Roberta Cinà, Simona Cinà's twin sister.
"We don't want to blame anyone, but we know something is wrong, we don't know what," said her brother, Roberto.
"The story doesn't hold up. We knew Simone; she could never have drowned in the pool. It was impossible for her not to know how to handle such a situation," he adds.
The 20-year-old's older brother, Gabriele Cinà, said, "We wondered if there were drugs at the graduation party, but at the moment we don't know. We also thought someone had put drugs in her drink."
Dressed in a denim skirt and a green shirt, with a plastic cup in her hand, loud music, a group dance and lots of laughter. These are the last moments of Simona Cinà, captured in one of the videos posted by friends who were at the graduation party where the twenty-year-old lost her life.

In another video, the girl is in a room with two friends who sing, dance and laugh while a cellphone records them.
"Surprisingly, there are few, or rather very few videos of the graduation party. There are no images of the cake, of the party, nothing. Who knows why. Strange, isn't it?" says Gabriele Giambrone, lawyer for Simona Cinà's family.
