I will create incidents so that the police will come and then kill them, that way I will become a hero. These are the notes that the 51-year-old who attacked 4 people with a knife in Greece had planned in his head.
Shortly before launching the stabbing attack, the 51-year-old left his cell phone and some notes with a fruit vendor and an amateur painter.
"I'll create an incident so the police come and when they do I'll kill them, to be a hero." The written message left by the 51-year-old was delivered to the police by the two people he had left with on Sunday morning, before launching the stabbing attack.
We recall that the 51-year-old first attacked a citizen inside a bus, using a screwdriver. He then went alone to the Korop Police Station, where he injured the Service Officer, the Commander and another police officer with the same screwdriver.
A police officer from the DIAS team shot him in the leg to neutralize him, while also attacking him when he attempted to arrest him.
The 51-year-old man was transferred to the KAT. The examinations performed showed that he had a gunshot wound to his right knee. He still has injuries to his left thigh and left foot. After the examinations are completed, he will be admitted for treatment of his injuries. However, his life is out of danger.
