The location of the Ark of the Covenant, believed to contain the Ten Commandments, has long been a mystery, but CIA documents claim it has been found for years!
According to the Bible, the Ark of the Covenant was built by the Israelites shortly after their escape from Egypt around the 13th century BC. Then, Moses placed the Ten Commandments inside it.
The CIA conducted experiments in the 1980s with individuals who claimed they could perceive information about distant objects, events, or other people.
The report details one of these tests, where "viewer No. 032" was given the coordinates to find a target and he described the Ark of the Covenant hidden in the Middle East.

Some historians believe that the Ark of the Covenant was originally kept within the Holy of Holies, the innermost chamber of the ancient Temple in Jerusalem, before disappearing during the sack of Jerusalem by the Babylonians in 586 BC.
There is also a legend that the artifact was taken to Ethiopia and is now housed in a local church. The declassified CIA document claims the Ark was discovered in 1988.
"The lens is a container. This container has another container inside it," the document states, which also clarifies that "the lens is made of wood, gold, and silver... and is decorated with [a six-winged angel]."
The viewer went on to say that the coffin-shaped object was "somewhere in the Middle East" and saw people in the area speaking Arabic.
According to biblical history, this sacred wooden ark, covered in gold, was built sometime around 1445 BC.
The Ten Commandments are a list of instructions given to Moses by God and include rules such as "thou shalt not murder" and "honor thy mother and father."

Some historians believe that the Ark remained inside the ancient temple in Jerusalem for centuries, during which time only the high priest of the Israelites could see it. Even he was only allowed to approach it during Judaism's holiest holiday, Yom Kippur.
But this CIA document reveals that the US government has known for years where the Ark is.
In the 1970s and 1980s, the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and many other intelligence agencies, including the CIA, employed individuals "allegedly possessing paranormal abilities" as a means of obtaining information about "distant events."
The Sun Streak program attempted to use psychics known as "television viewers" to gather information about targets using only coordinates.

Viewers are supposedly able to project their consciousness beyond their bodies to observe a distant location.
The CIA used these psychics for a wide range of operations, from finding hostages kidnapped by Islamic terrorist groups to tracking the routes of escaped criminals within the US.
The program, known as Sun Streak, has gained public attention after being featured on a recent episode of the podcast "Ninjas are Butterflies."

Show host Josh Hooper said he thought Project Sun Streak was "fake" until he went to the CIA.gov website and found the document.
"The objective is hidden - underground, darkness and damp were all aspects of the intended location. The purpose is to unite a people. It is about ceremony, memory, honor, resurrection. There is an aspect of spirituality, information, lessons and historical knowledge far beyond what we know today."

It goes on to say that 'the mechanisms of the locking system will be revealed to be quite simple' and that anyone who attempts to open the Ark will be 'destroyed by the container's defenders through the use of a power unknown to us'.
