Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke this evening to the media in his country regarding the developments in Kosovo, saying that someone is working to put pressure on the Serbian people.
According to him, the dinar is the only valid currency for Serbs in Kosovo, but the authorities in Pristina "don't care about that".
He added that he has documents from two foreign ministries, where it is written that Serbia is problematic because it does not recognize Kosovo, it is tolerant towards Dodik and towards Russia. Vucic said that all this is aimed at destroying Serbia's position in Kosovo.
" It is true that someone is working hard to put pressure on the Serbian people and take action every day. The main question is what we can do in these geopolitical circumstances. How can we protect our people? The dinar is the only valid currency. They really don't care.
Foreigners say: Kosovo is an independent state, then I ask why there is dialogue, I am in possession of documents from two foreign ministries in which it is written that Serbia is a problem because it does not recognize Kosovo, because it is tolerant towards Dodik and because the Russian media can address us ", said Vucic.
According to him, all this is aimed at destroying the position of Serbia in Kosovo. Vucic added that we should be grateful to the Europeans and the Americans who do not want instability and accept that Kurti has been hasty.
He stated that Kurti has an adviser from Great Britain, of German origin, who will be discussed in the coming days and who will lead to those solutions.
Among other things, Vucic declared that his country is being destroyed by those who do not want Serbia to be independent and stabilized. According to him, the German newspaper Frankfurter Algemann Zeitung has written that Vučić is inspired by what Azerbaijan has done in Nagorno-Karabakh, so it is strengthening the army, a claim, according to him, that is not based on facts.
He further stated that money is needed for this activity, which comes from the great powers and countries in the region that have an interest in destabilizing Serbia. He also said that the Albanians are arming themselves on the ground, while the Serbs are disarming.
" Albanians are already being armed, they are mostly using Turkey. The Serbs are disarming. There is only one goal, the overthrow of Serbia and the recognition of Kosovo's independence ," said Vucic.
Vučić also attacked the international media, such as "The Guardian" and "Bild", which according to him are attacking Serbia without facts.
"All this harassment that is being done to Serbia abroad, like the last one by the Guardian, which is a criminal newspaper. While some time ago Bild published my photo with Putin and said if this is evidence that Vucic will start a war in the Balkans , "he said.
In the end, he declared that Serbia does not want war, peace and stability, adding that he has sent letters to the leaders of EU member states and representatives of European institutions, about the situation in the north of Kosovo./ Danas
