The US military announced on Monday via a post on "X" that it had killed two people in a new attack on a ship suspected of transporting drugs in international waters in the eastern Pacific Ocean.
The US Joint Command responsible for South America said that following the order of Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, an attack was launched against a vessel operating a foreign terrorist organization in international waters. It described the victims as two narco-terrorists.
Since early September, US armed forces have bombed dozens of ships transporting drugs in the Caribbean Sea and the eastern Pacific Ocean.
At least 107 people have been killed in these bombings. Experts and the UN have questioned the legality of these operations.
