Amid rumors that Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has been suspected of being killed by Israeli attacks, an official reaction has come from Iran.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, in an interview with 'NBC News', said that everything was under control and that only a few commanders were lost as a result of the attacks. According to him, this is not a big problem. He also added that as far as he is aware, the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is still alive.
"We may have lost some commanders, but this is not such a big problem. All the senior officials are alive. So everyone is now in their position and we are handling this situation and everything is fine ," Araghchi said in an interview with NBC News.
It is worth noting that the Foreign Minister's information may also be limited, as he is not in Iran, having been in Geneva for nuclear talks with the US, which were already suspended following the US attacks.
A few minutes ago, Israeli media stated that Iran's supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, has cut off contact and there is no certainty about his fate, the information again could not be verified.
We recall that so far at least 70 people have been reported killed and more than 90 others injured in the attacks in Minab and Jask, both in Hormozgan province in southern Iran.
