US President Donald Trump has declared that the conflict with Iran is in the final stages and that the United States will emerge victorious.
In an interview with Fox News, given a day after the attack launched by Washington, Trump expressed confidence in the outcome of the situation.
"The war with Iran will end very soon and we will emerge clearly victorious," he said.
The president's statement comes at a time of high tension between the two countries, while developments on the ground and international reactions remain the focus of attention.
Trump also stated that China is providing some assistance to Iran in the current conflict, but according to him, this support is limited. Referring to Beijing's role in the crisis, Trump said that "they could do a lot more." But, he added that he is not "very disappointed" with Beijing.
"They can do more. I'm not overly disappointed. We help others too," Trump said, citing American support for Ukraine as an example.
