Iran's Revolutionary Guard has claimed responsibility for an attack on a data center of the American company Oracle in Dubai, according to Al Jazeera reports.
Iranian state media cited the Guards' naval command as claiming responsibility for the attack on the US company's infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates. There has been no independent confirmation of the damage or potential impact of the attack.
Earlier in the day, according to the same sources, the Revolutionary Guard had also targeted an Amazon center in Bahrain, expanding the spectrum of targets to American companies in the region.
The developments come a few days after Iran published a list of 18 companies, mostly American, operating in the Middle East and which could be considered potential targets in the context of escalating tensions.
Oracle is an American technology company that provides database systems, cloud services, and software solutions for businesses and institutions. Its infrastructures are widely used for storing and managing data globally.
