A robbery occurred today at lunchtime at the Louis Vuitton store in the center of Rome, at the intersection of Mario dei Fiori and Condotti streets.
Italian media reported that the three masked robbers crashed their car into the glass window of the luxury store, causing extensive damage and opening a way into the store.
According to La Repubblica, after they managed to break in, they stole around 80 items, mainly handbags and other high-value accessories.

The total value has not yet been calculated, but initial estimates indicate that it could be worth hundreds of thousands of euros.
Authorities are reviewing footage from security cameras, both at the store and neighboring businesses, in an attempt to identify the perpetrators and their escape route after the theft.
