Greece is not finding peace from the seismic tremors. The neighboring country has been hit again by 4 earthquakes one after the other, causing panic among the citizens.
Two strong seismic tremors, which were also accompanied by smaller aftershocks, occurred at 18:23 and 18:34.
The first and strongest earthquake recorded during the afternoon had a magnitude of 3.8 and is said to have struck 96 km south of Pátras. Another smaller magnitude 3.3 struck 11 minutes later.
We recall that at noon, in Ilia, southern Greece, with a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter scale. According to the revised assessment of the Geodynamic Institute, the earthquake occurred at 11:47, with an epicenter 2 kilometers west of Giannitsochori.
And another 3.5 Richter scale occurred this evening, in Ilia. According to the Geodynamic Institute, the epicenter of the earthquake is located 2 kilometers south southwest of Giannitsochori, below the Patras region. The focal depth of the earthquake is 5 kilometers.
