With two separate attacks, Lebanon is sending messages to Israel on many fronts.
Yesterday's drone attack on the home of the country's prime minister did not cause chaos and casualties, but a week ago, 4 Israeli soldiers were killed and dozens were injured in an attack very similar to yesterday's.
"Yesterday's attack was not carried out with the same type of drone, but with a smaller and more modern one," Israeli military sources said without giving details of its type, raising questions about whether they are aware that Lebanon has a system such weaponry in its warehouses.
According to the same sources, the drones that attempted to strike Benjamin Netanyahu's house do not have powerful warheads, but have two other characteristics that make them a significant threat: "a very low flight height and a higher speed."

Another element that causes concern within the Israeli military staff is not the non-activation of air defense sirens, but the fact that the drones that Hezbollah has attacked with in recent days seem to have different elements.

And a very large media blackout by the occupation. We hope that Netanyahu was present in his house at the moment of the targeting. pic.twitter.com/3NVRJ1jpMV
This leads IDF experts to the scenario that perhaps today Beirut has the potential to create its own drone from components of older types, a "hybrid" that is, which without costing anything, creates big problems, as it combines the advantages of some older types. If that is the case, Israel must immediately include in its operational plan to find not only where Hezbollah is stockpiling its new arsenal, but also the people who have the knowledge and infrastructure to carry out that plan.
The gaps in the "invisible" war part of this espionage are also significant, as Hezbollah had the knowledge, coordinates and clear targeting to plan its drones on the Netanyahu family home.
Here we are not talking about a military base, with a large surface area with specific infrastructure for which Hezbollah can have its resources, but about the house of the prime minister of Israel in a purely residential area.

Hezbollah has released three times in the past year videos of its spy drones mapping entire areas of Israel from north to south. Israel does not seem to have taken this particular threat from the Shiite organization very seriously and has already paid a significant price.
Gaps in Israeli air defenses should also be taken for granted today, especially in the area of drone interception, but this is something Israel has fully realized. Precisely for this reason, a few days after the attack on the military base with 4 dead, Israel's Defense Minister participated in a demonstration of drone surveillance systems in the south of the country.
Today, the Netanyahu government has given the "green light" to both local (mostly startup) and foreign companies to offer offers and solutions that will be developed immediately - without the process of checks and exercises - at specific points in the North.
