Expert Medlir Mema spoke about the war between Israel and Palestine. He concluded that in the international arena, Iran is the country that recognizes Hamas. In an interview for 'Euronews Albania' he also stated that the Palestinian cause is supported by Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
In terms of religion, he clarified that the Muslims in the area of the occupied territories are of the Sunni sect who have been in historical enmity with those who are Shia.
"Hamas has not expressed, let's say, an independence of the Gaza Strip. So, the Gaza Strip continues to remain legally part of the Palestinian territories. Of course, Hamas claims that sooner or later it will take ownership of all the historic Palestinian land, starting from the year 48, which of course includes the current state of Israel," said Mema.
