A triple crime in the family happened on the night between Saturday and Sunday in Palermo, Italy.
A 54-year-old man killed his wife and two children aged 5 and 16. Another 17-year-old girl managed to save herself.
The massacre, the details of which are still unknown, took place in Altavilla Milicia, a seaside municipality in the province of Palermo.
After exterminating his family, the 54-year-old allegedly called the police, confessed and waited for the military to arrive in Casteldaccia, a town a few kilometers from the scene where he then surrendered.
The prosecution is investigating the crime and has delegated the investigations to the Carabinieri of the operative department.
The murder happened around 03:00.
