Police have announced that they are working with emergency teams and have taken measures to ensure that passengers remain in the vehicles to avoid any further danger.
In an attempt to control the situation, officers stopped passengers who attempted to walk on the road and returned them to their cars.
Five people were also taken to hospital for treatment, while the London Ambulance Service reported that a total of 21 patients were treated at the scene.
At the moment, investigations into this incident are ongoing and police have announced that they are searching for other people who may have been involved.
While authorities are dealing with the incident, there have been disruptions to services on the Elizabeth Line of rail transport, causing delays of up to 10 minutes.
This has led to inconvenience for passengers, some of whom have sought to get out of their cars to walk faster, defying the rules and going past the barriers.
