Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has asked for Ukraine's help in an official conversation he is expected to hold with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The goal is to discuss Iranian aircraft and possible military cooperation.

According to Israeli media reports, Tel Aviv is seeking specific consultations with Kiev, as Ukraine has built up extensive and successful experience in intercepting and destroying Iranian-made drones during the war on its territory.

Ukraine's Ambassador to Israel, Yevhen Korniychuk, confirmed that the request for this phone call has been officially forwarded, but due to the busy agendas of both leaders, the conversation has not yet taken place.

This important communication is expected to take place early next week, where technical and strategic data on defense against these airstrikes that are affecting both regions is expected to be exchanged.

Meanwhile, the Iranian military has issued a direct threat to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, declaring that it will "hunt down and kill him."

According to Iranian state media, the statement was made by Iran's Revolutionary Guards, known as the IRGC.

The semi-official Mehr news agency reports that the IRGC has vowed to continue operations against Israel and its leaders.

The US is not ready for a deal with Iran

US President Donald Trump said he is not yet ready to make a deal with Iran to end the war. He said Iran wants to make a deal to give it up, but the terms are not good enough.

In an interview with NBC, Trump added that the US strikes completely destroyed most of Kharg Island, the critical hub of Iran's oil exports, but he stressed that "they could hit it a few more times just for fun."

Trump called on countries to help the US secure the Strait of Hormuz by sending warships to the Middle East. So far, the countries that responded have not confirmed whether they would do so.

Israel and Iran have exchanged airstrikes overnight, with reports of missile and drone interceptions in the Gulf states. Iran fired several missile barrages at Israel and claims attacks on US bases in Iraq and Kuwait.

The US embassy in Baghdad has warned its citizens in Iraq to leave "immediately" after a rocket hit the building on Saturday. Non-emergency US government employees have also been told to leave Oman.
