At least seven people were injured after an Iranian ballistic missile hit the Jerusalem area, the Israeli emergency service Magen David Adom (MDA) announced on Sunday evening.
According to authorities, the rocket landed near a vehicle that sustained significant damage. Medical teams immediately responded to the scene and provided first aid to a 45-year-old man in moderate condition, as well as several other people with minor injuries. The injured were transported by ambulance to hospitals in Jerusalem.
Israeli police have begun searching the area for rocket debris and metal fragments, while urging citizens to avoid the vicinity of the strike site for security reasons.
