Alarm sirens were activated across Israel after Iran launched another barrage of ballistic missiles towards Israeli territory late Monday evening.
According to initial reports, rockets were fired towards several areas of the country, while Israeli air defense systems were engaged in intercepting them over various cities, including the Tel Aviv area.
In the early hours of the incident, several sources reported that Hezbollah had fired rockets toward northern Israel at the same time as the Iranian ballistic missile attack. An Israel Defense Forces spokesman denied these reports and stated that there was no confirmation of Hezbollah's involvement in this wave of attacks.
The Magen David Adom emergency service announced that there were no reports of casualties or injuries as a result of this rocket barrage.
Israeli authorities have urged citizens to stay in shelters until further notice. Defense forces continue to monitor the situation, while tensions between Tehran and Tel Aviv remain high.
