Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi confirm ballistic missile barrages, citizens ordered to shelter in place as sirens wail across Israel

Israel and the United Arab Emirates have confirmed they have detected missiles fired by Iran towards their territories, in a new escalation of tensions in the Middle East.
Authorities in the United Arab Emirates said they were facing a barrage of ballistic missiles and that air defense systems were engaged to neutralize incoming targets. Security structures have increased their level of alert and are monitoring the airspace.
Meanwhile, Israel announced that its defense systems had been activated in several areas of the country. Alarm sirens were heard in the north, center and south, signaling an imminent danger to the civilian population.
The Israel Defense Forces urged citizens to immediately enter shelters and remain there until further notice. Authorities stressed that the air force and missile defense units are working to intercept the rockets before they hit residential areas.
There are no official reports of casualties or material damage so far, while the situation remains dynamic. Relevant institutions in both countries continue to assess the risk and publish notifications to citizens.
