The mother of two was killed by her ex-husband this morning as soon as she arrived at her home, where the 43-year-old was waiting for her.
He had arrived at the scene in the early hours of the morning and as soon as he saw the ex-wife's car approaching, he jumped from the balcony of the apartment on top of the hood, shooting at the 36-year-old woman from the windshield of the vehicle.
Then, the author ended his life by shooting himself with a rifle. The crime that shocked Greece was forewarned. Just two days ago, the victim filed a lawsuit against the 43-year-old for domestic violence and threats.
However, this was not the first time that the author made his life "hell". Last May, the 43-year-old was sent to prison on charges of domestic violence and bodily harm. However, he was declared innocent and after leaving the cell he continued to torture the 36-year-old.
He kept her under close observation, threatened and raped her, the torture she experienced until this morning when the 43-year-old killed her in front of their minor daughter.
A close friend of the victim told protothema.gr that on Wednesday evening, the ex-husband cut the brakes of the 36-year-old motorcycle, wanting to scare her.
The woman filed a lawsuit against him hoping he would leave her alone, but her abuser was determined to go to extremes.
"They had been separated for a long time, but he kept bothering her. He threatened him, watched him, waited outside the house for him to return.
He had raped her several times and yesterday he cut the brakes of his motorcycle. She had reported him to the police. She had gone out during the night and as soon as she returned home, her ex-husband was waiting for her and killed her. One of the children was with his mother in the village, but the little girl was at home. The child is in shock, how can it be?" , said the 36-year-old's friend.
