From hostage-taking to escape: footage reveals what happened inside the bank in Naples...
Footage has been released from inside a bank in Naples, which was robbed in broad daylight by armed men, holding 25 people hostage for several hours.
The photos published by Italian journalist Giusepppe Crimaldi clearly show the damage caused by the robbers, with open safes, cabinets scattered on the floor and destroyed premises. In some of them, footprints on the floor are also visible, which are suspected to belong to the perpetrators as they moved around inside the bank.
According to local media, the robbers managed to empty some of the safes, while overturning and damaging the valuables storage system, creating complete chaos in the interior.

The incident occurred on Thursday, when several armed men entered the bank and took 25 people hostage. Police negotiated for about two hours, enabling the hostages to be released without consequences.
Special forces of the Carabinieri were also sent to the scene, who intervened with force, while shots and explosions of stun grenades were heard.

However, according to reports, the perpetrators managed to escape through an underground tunnel, allegedly disappearing into the sewer network.
The published footage sheds more light on the extent of the robbery, while the police continue the operation to identify and capture the perpetrators.
