Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has defended Russia's ties with Iran.
This comes after US President Donald Trump stated that Tehran may be working to restore its weapons programs following US attacks on its main nuclear facilities in June.
Trump told reporters, while hosting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Florida, that the US would have to "blow them up" if this was proven to be true.
In its response, the Kremlin has urged all parties to exercise restraint and not to escalate the situation.
Moscow has forged closer ties with Tehran since its invasion of Ukraine in 2022 and even signed a strategic partnership treaty with the Islamic Republic earlier this year.
