The chief negotiator of Serbia in the dialogue with Kosovo, Petar Petkovic, stated that the Serbs are waiting for the formation of the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority.
Petkovic said that "now is the moment whether it will happen or not".
"If it's not going to form, they know what to do," he said. As he always does, he mentioned the accusations that the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, is persecuting the Serbs, saying that the West is united against him.
"Only when we see the movements and concrete measures announced by the EU and the USA, will we understand that the aim is to restrain Kurti", said Petkovic.
While the President of Serbia, Aleksandër Vučić, said that he cannot confirm that "there is any guide" for the exit from the crisis in the north of Kosovo.
He made these comments after the bilateral meeting with the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue mediators in Brussels.
"We discussed the issue, the substance, which was inevitable, but I believe also useful, but what we will see tomorrow on the ground, I don't know...when we have trucks waiting...", he said, referring to the traffic jam of trucks with Serbian goods on the border with Kosovo.
Regarding the solution to the situation in Kosovo, Vucic said that he is afraid that "everything has gone too far".
