Asked by reporters about his criticism of the Oslo Accords - signed in the 1990s between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization - Netanyahu tried to avoid responsibility, blaming the Palestinian side. Among other things, he emphasized that he is proud that he did not allow the creation of a Palestinian state.
"For 13 years, blame me for being the person who stopped the Oslo agreements, who prevented the creation of the Palestinian state. Yes, it is true that I have said since I was elected prime minister, in my electoral campaign, there must be mutual ties. They'll get what they give, but they didn't give anything, so I'm very proud that I prevented the creation of a Palestinian state because we know what that would look like. After seeing the little one in Gaza, we can imagine what would have happened if, with all her international support, can you imagine if they had been around Jerusalem and anywhere else and what they would have done on October 7 ", he said.
