Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has warned that even allies will stop taking Europe seriously if the continent remains weak and divided. In a post on the social network X, Tusk stressed that the lack of unity and strength makes Europe irrelevant to both allies and adversaries.
"No one will take a weak and divided Europe seriously: neither an enemy nor an ally. That much is already clear. We must finally believe in our strength, we must continue to arm ourselves, we must stand united as never before. One for all and all for one. Otherwise, we are finished ," Tusk wrote.
The Polish prime minister's statements come at a time of tension on the international scene and following recent global developments, including the US attack on Venezuela. They also follow comments by US President Donald Trump regarding Washington's territorial claims to Greenland, which is part of the Kingdom of Denmark.
