Secretary of State Antony Blinken said at a briefing on Friday that the US welcomes the release of two Americans held hostage by Hamas.
But Blinken also said there are still 10 more Americans missing in the conflict, adding that they are among about 200 others from different countries being held in Gaza, including men, women, the elderly and children.

" Each of them should be released ," said Blinken.
He added that "the urgent work to free every single American, to free all other hostages, continues.
The top American diplomat said that during his recent trip to Israel, he met with loved ones of American citizens captured by Hamas. US President Joe Biden also "had the opportunity to hear directly from the families," he said.
" What I shared with the families, as did the president, is that the entire United States government will work every minute of every day to secure their release, to bring their loved ones home. They have my commitment solemn – those who continue to have their loved ones hostage by Hamas – that we will continue to do so ,” he said.
