The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said that he is closely following the hypocritical policies of Western leaders regarding the massacres in Gaza.
During his speech on capacity building and training of the Union of International Democrats (UID), he added that these policies have been lecturing for democracy and freedom for years.
"Just as we have rejected Islamophobia, xenophobia and all kinds of cultural racism, we reject anti-Semitism in the same way ," said the Turkish president, adding that "We are closely following the hypocritical policies of Western leaders, who for years have been lecturing us about democracy and freedom, related to the massacres in Gaza".
"Turkey has shown a sharp and courageous attitude not only to the issue of Islamophobia and xenophobia, but also to the Gaza crisis that has been going on for 7 months ," said President Erdogan.
He emphasized that they have always kept the genocide that Israel is carrying out against their brothers in Gaza on the agenda.
"Regardless of the pressure of the global Zionist lobby, we defend our position ," Erdogan continued.
"The limits of Western democracy are determined by Israel's interests. Everything that affects Israel's interests is anti-democratic and anti-Semitic in their eyes," Erdogan concluded.
