Gaza war, Israel kills another Hamas commander

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) claim to have killed another senior Hamas commander as its ground operations continue inside the Gaza Strip.

"Based on ISA and IDF intelligence, an IDF warplane killed Ibrahim Abu-Maghsib, the head of the Hamas anti-tank missile unit in the central camps brigade," an update said, Al Jazeera reports.

This comes after the IDF claimed on Wednesday last week that it had killed another anti-tank missile commander, Muhammad A'sar.

The IDF said Abu-Maghsib "directed and conducted multiple anti-tank missile launches at Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers" before he was killed today.
