Russia and Ukraine have exchanged more than 100 prisoners of war from both sides on the last day. Both Kiev and Moscow have confirmed the exchange of prisoners of war.
Andriy Yermak, the head of the Ukrainian president's office, said 95 Ukrainians, soldiers of the armed forces and national guard, as well as border guards, were handed over by Russia, including several wounded.

Meanwhile, the Russian defense ministry said 94 Russians were also released after negotiations and would be sent for medical examination.
The two countries, although in a long war of more than 1 year, have periodically exchanged prisoners of war, among the only cases where the parties have agreed to negotiate.
