The expanded government in Macedonia, LSDM-VMRO-DPMNE may remain without any Albanian party within it. This is because all Albanian political entities in North Macedonia, opposition and government, declare that they do not want to be part of such a Government.
The faction within DUI estimates that the negotiations for the expanded Government are political trade in which they do not see themselves.
" We will do everything in our power to help this process, which is beneficial to all citizens and the only path to lasting stability and well-being. For us, Government combinations and equations with negotiations of a "commercial" give and take nature are of little importance, which historically has been proven to have a losing epilogue whoever does it" , said Izet Mejhiti, the faction within the DUI.
The leader of the Besa Movement, Bilall Kasami, in a statement for Alsat, says that his party will be part of the Government only after the parliamentary elections in which his subject will be the winner in the Albanian political camp.
"The Besa movement is not part of the calculations to become part of any kind of Government format before the elections. Besa will enter the Government only after the next elections as the winner of those elections in the Albanian political camp ", declared Bilall Kasami, Chairman of the Besa Movement.
The alternative requires to first prove that there are numbers for constitutional changes and meet their demands for language and the fight against corruption, adding that participation in the extended format Government is of little importance.
" For the Alternative, the most important thing about the Government composition is whether the constitutional changes are passed, including our proposal for the constitutional sanctioning of the fight against corruption and the removal of the offensive euphemism 20% for the Albanian language", say from the Alternative.
