Russia wants to mobilize 300,000 fighters to be sent to fight in Ukraine by June 1, and before that, by May 9, the day on which Russians celebrate victory over Nazism in World War II, they intend to occupy the city of Khasiv Yar, in Donetsk, Donbass!
This is what Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his evening speech, commenting on the US House's green light for war aid to Kiev.
" I was recently in the region and talked to the soldiers. The fighters do not have the equipment to fight the Russian drones and there is also a lack of artillery for the shells. I expect that we will be able to withstand the arrival of the weapons in time and we will be able to repel the enemy and then destroy Russia's plans for a full counterattack in June ," Zelensky stressed, quoted by Ukrinform.
