The head of the Israeli Armed Forces, Eyal Zamir, has announced that military operations against Iran are entering a new phase. He said that the Israeli army will take other actions that have not been made public.
During a press conference, Zamir stated that Israel has established almost complete superiority in Iranian airspace. According to him, this situation allows Israeli forces to expand operations against the Iranian regime's infrastructure and military capabilities.

Zamir stated that the Israeli air force carried out about 2,500 strikes and used more than 6,000 munitions during the operations. He added that the military destroyed about 80 percent of Iran's air defense systems.
According to him, the attacks also hit Iran's missile capabilities. Zamir said that about 60 percent of the missile launchers were destroyed, but stressed that the threat has not been completely eliminated.
The Israeli command warns that operations will continue, as the army aims to further reduce Iran's military capabilities.
