Many citizens have gathered in the center of Shtip in North Macedonia, paying homage to the 59 people who lost their lives in the discotheque that was engulfed in fire in Kocani.
Citizens have also lit candles in memory of these victims, and have also placed several photographs of the victims.
Also, flowers have been placed in Skanderbeg Square in Skopje in honor of the victims of the Kocani tragedy. Macedonian Deputy Prime Minister Izet Mxhiti shared some images of the tributes through a post on his Facebook profile.
" Tonight, in Skanderbeg Square, we laid flowers in honor of the lost lives of the victims in the Kocani tragedy. Together, we share the pain and stand in solidarity with each other. Tonight, we speak in different languages, but we mourn and grieve the same way for our young men and women who we unjustly lost. Our prayers and thoughts are with the families of the victims and the injured. They are not alone in this pain! We are together!", writes Mexhiti.
