Since the start of the war with Russia, Ukraine has focused on developing its arms industry. In the wake of this initiative, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has revealed that Kiev already has a domestically produced missile that can reach Moscow.
Zelensky announced that Ukraine had successfully tested a new domestically produced missile, the Long Neptun, which has a range of 621 miles, or about 1,000 kilometers.
Theoretically, the weapon could reach as far as Moscow, and since it is domestically produced, Kiev would not need permission from its allies to attack Moscow.
It is worth noting that the Long Neptune is an evolution of the previous version of the weapon that sank Putin's Black Sea Fleet ship, the Moskva, in 2022.
